The 4th in Philly

On Sunday decided it would be fun to spend the 4th of July weekend in Philadelphia! So we booked a hotel room and packed our bags in a matter of about an hour. Two hours after that we were checked into our hotel. We thought we booked a suite, so all 6 of us could have a bed but turns out we didn't. Our sleeping arrangements that night were a bit squished, and then the power went out so Our hotel room was SO beyond hot!! We all woke up in the middle of the night in a dead sweat, luckily the power came back on! When we woke up Monday morning we headed to see Philly! I have never seen so much of one city and so much history in one day, it really was such a cool experience. This one day was more educating then all my history classes combined.

Our first stop, The Liberty Bell!

Nic and Bree's Breakfast...it was like 10:00 am So Gross!

Miss America 2011!!
So Many People!

Inside Independence Hall, in the original building and room where the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776..this was SO cool!

Outside of Independence Hall
Our Tour guide was awesome, I learned so much from her! The chair behind her is the original chair that George Washington sat in!

Philadelphia had the cutest homes and apartments!

Authentic Philly Cheesestake Sandwich

The Taxi

This was where the fireworks would show Later, there were tons of vendors of every different kind of food you could imagine and SOO many people, I couldn't believe it!

The Rocky Stairs, the road was closed off so we couldn't get as close as we would have liked.

Tribute to Rocky

The Beach

On Friday morning we had a last minute trip to the beach! It was such a fun and relaxing day!

My dream Beach House!

If I couldn't have the other house, I wouldn't mind this I guess...

This was a beautiful moment...being reunited with Hot Cheetos. They don't sell them anywhere in New Jersey, accept the 7 Eleven by the beach! We were excited to say the least.

The board Walk

I finally got to try a fried candy bar, these were little fried Twix...I know it looks like fried poop

Free Hair Cuts...

So one of our sales guys needed a hair cut and for some reason he trusted us to cut his hair...We were pretty excited to be hair dressers for a day. I got a little excited and cut one side too short. We decided it was a bad idea to have two people be working on one head of hair, so I stepped back and let Allyson take over. She actually did a great job!

Six Flags

This last weekend we went to six flags! I have never been before, it was a BLAST!! I loved every single minute of it!!!!
This is "KingDa Ka" The tallest fastest roller coaster in the world and we totally
conquered it!

So We bought souvenir cups...they were like $13.00 but free refills ALL day. So we drank soda ALL day!! I had to get my moneys worth... and I had to go to the bathroom like every 30 minutes, no joke. After the day was over I thought I would never have another drink of coke again...I did. Best $13.00 I have ever spent.
