The 4th in Philly

On Sunday decided it would be fun to spend the 4th of July weekend in Philadelphia! So we booked a hotel room and packed our bags in a matter of about an hour. Two hours after that we were checked into our hotel. We thought we booked a suite, so all 6 of us could have a bed but turns out we didn't. Our sleeping arrangements that night were a bit squished, and then the power went out so Our hotel room was SO beyond hot!! We all woke up in the middle of the night in a dead sweat, luckily the power came back on! When we woke up Monday morning we headed to see Philly! I have never seen so much of one city and so much history in one day, it really was such a cool experience. This one day was more educating then all my history classes combined.

Our first stop, The Liberty Bell!

Nic and Bree's Breakfast...it was like 10:00 am So Gross!

Miss America 2011!!
So Many People!

Inside Independence Hall, in the original building and room where the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776..this was SO cool!

Outside of Independence Hall
Our Tour guide was awesome, I learned so much from her! The chair behind her is the original chair that George Washington sat in!

Philadelphia had the cutest homes and apartments!
