So me and Allyson found out there is a train 3 miles away from our house that takes us right into New York City, it is so much better than driving to Hoboken to take the train. Hoboken is a nightmare to drive in, we almost died like ten times! ha The train costs $16 round trip, that could add up, but decided we would rather spend the extra money then risk dying, I think we made a good choice! On the train ride in I met this crazy lady who wanted to tell me her whole life story, she was like 60 and still trying to make it on broadway, she told me how much she weighs (which she totally lied about by the way ha) and what car she drives, all about her daughter getting married...by the end of the train ride I knew EVERYTHING about her life, the funny thing was that I never asked. But I am glad she shared, She ended up giving me her "card" with her picture from 30 years ago and her name and phone number...I was so confused, did she want me to give her a call? ha People are interesting. Then these two kids, one from Irland, one from India came up to me and Allyson and asked us how fake ID's work in America, they pulled out their fake ID's and asked us if they looked legit. Me and Allyson just started laughing, we had no idea!
Waiting at the Milburn train station to start our big night!
I kept my pepper spray close, (it was in my bra the whole night) I felt very safe! ha
We hit up Canal Street, My favorite is when the little chinese ladies come up beside us and don't make eye contact and whisper, Coach? Gucci? Loui? Tiffany, Chanel? YES! YES! YES!
We are still learning how to find our way around the city, we were so hungry at this point and apparently all the good eating places were on the other side of town...this is me Trying to map out our attack!
Finally we found food!!! A massive Mexican burrito, just my style!
I look so out of it in this picture haha
"The Tin Man" was walking around the Long Island Train Station and all the sudden a rat came crawling out of his hood. So Gross!!
